About NSC
Nightingale Student Circle is an organization embodied by students — men and women of the College of Nursing, Health Aide and School of Midwifery of Misamis University. It is a non-sectarian, non-political and non-profit organization. All rights and privileges within the association shall be open and equal to every member of the organization.
Mission/Vision:
NSC as an academic body aims to promote the general welfare of the members by developing ones' full potentials, personally and academically. Moreover, the organization endeavors to mold students to become competitive and excellent in their academic and professional undertakings.
Objectives
Guided by the mission/vision of NSC, the following are the specific objectives:
- Develop leadership skills in members.
- Cultivate creative talents among students.
- Provide venues for self expression.
- Appreciate group efforts through active cooperation.
- Observe friendship and camaraderie among members and other students of the university.
Goals
- Increase the Board Examination Passing Rate of MU examinees from 50% in June 2006 to 80% in June 2008.
- Unite the efforts of the Student Body Organization (SBO) and NSC officers to maintain the "Overall Championship Record Title" during Founder's Day (Intramurals), and MURSO Festival Celebration.
