EmailOrigin of Vision/Mission
When I was elected as president of NSC for SY 2006—2007, I began finding out the specific
vision/mission and objectives of NSC. I believe that having knowledge on these matters would
help me perform my duties and responsibilities as president of the organization. However,
I could not find any document explicitly stating the guiding principles of NSC. Hence,
I decided to initiate making the mission, vision, objectives and goals of NSC.
On August 2, 2006, using the NSC preamble and mission statement from the Department
of Student Affairs of the university, I presented a draft about our
Mission/Vision and
Objectives
to other NSC officers as well as to the advisers and college dean.
